Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant program equips graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet clinical requirements in a medical office or other allied health fields as medical office specialists.
Students will also learn Phlebotomy, EKG (electrocardiography), medical office procedures, and other valuable skills. They will perfect these skills during internship at medical offices.
Medical Office Specialist
The Medical Office Specialist program equips graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to meet the administrative, clerical and technical requirements in a medical office or other allied health fields as medical office specialists. This program consists of 1440 hours of the Medical Office Specialist curriculum.
Students will also learn medical records, insurance coding, medical office procedures, and other valuable skills. They will perfect these skills during internship at medical offices.
ESL Programs
The ESL Programs is offered to students whose language skills are insufficient to start our professional programs. It will provide students with the necessary English Language skills and knowledge required for communicating effectively in their professional classes as well as in today’s modern business environment.
As a prerequisite to the ESL programs, students must take an ESL placement examination to determine their level of English language skills.
All curricula listed are approved by the New York State Dept. of Education, Bureau of Proprietary School Supervision.
